Duplex Stainless Steel Syphons and Snubbers are manufactured from UNS S31803/S32205 duplex stainless steel. Typical chemical composition includes Chromium (21–23%), Nickel (4.5–6.5%), Molybdenum (2.5–3.5%), Nitrogen (0.08–0.20%), and Iron (balance). This composition provides excellent corrosion resistance, high tensile strength, and durability. Mechanically, these components offer superior yield strength, toughness, and resistance to stress corrosion cracking. They perform reliably under high pressure, temperature fluctuations, and chemically aggressive environments, ensuring long-term protection and operational safety for critical instrumentation.

- Maximum Operating Pressure : -1/4” NPT, schedule 40 welded is suitable for 175 psi at 340OF (171OC).
  -1/4”or 1/2” NPT, schedule 40, any seamless material is good for a working pressure of 500 psi at 680OF (360OC).
  -1/4” or 1/2” NPT, schedule 80, any seamless material is good for a working pressure of 1650 psi at 630OF (332OC).
